The Fellowship in Manufacturing Management

Programme Objectives and Outlines

The aim of the Fellowship is to supply manufacturing with the high calibre managers in order to enhance performance. People who have a passion for business excellence. People who want to make a real difference to companies.

We develop high achieving change agents who can provide the technical skills, leadership, qualities and management expertise to transform the performance of predominantly, though not solely, manufacturing businesses.

This programme is for people who wish to develop:

  • Expertise in lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
  • An awareness of the wider business issues
  • A passion for business improvement.
  • The ability to make things happen.

Foundation Phase
12 week residential programme at Cranfield University

Industrial Phase
12 month placement in a sponsoring company undertaking a challenging assignment.
